Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond your control may require you to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Please contact us as soon as you are aware of a conflict.

  • Please provide the Purple Pear with a minimum of 24 hours notice when rescheduling or cancelling individual appointments and 48 hours for couples appointments.

  • If 24 hours (or 48 hours for couples) is not provided, we will charge a fee of 50% of the service fee .

  • Online booking is set up to securely hold your credit card information for prompt payment of this fee.

  • This fee must be paid in full prior to your next appointment.

Late Appointments

We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment, allowing time to check in and complete any paperwork. In order to respect the appointment times of our other guests, if you arrive late your treatment will still end as previously scheduled.

Online Booking

Purple Pear offers online booking for your convenience. If you have questions about treatments or do not see a service listed, please call us directly.

Insurance

We accept or bill most insurance as well as workers compensation and auto accidents. Please call us with your insurance information 3 business days prior to your appointment in order to verify coverage.

We will no longer be accepting UMR, United, Cigna, Kaiser or new Pacificsource clients. We are able to bill with out of network benefits for Moda and Aetna

Gratuity

Gratuity is not built into our service prices. Tips may be left at reception or handed to your provider.

Children

We are a family-friendly business, and we strive to meet the needs of all our guests.children. We provide services for the entire family. We embrace the premise that it is important for moms (and dads, too!) to take the time to nurture themselves so that they can feel more able to care for others.

Children are welcome at the Purple Pear, but we kindly ask that you follow our guidelines in order to provide the optimal experience for you and other guests.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at the Purple Pear.

  • Sleeping, nursing, or content infants are allowed in the treatment rooms. Infants sleeping in carriers will be allowed at your provider’s discretion during certain treatments.

Quiet & Tranquility

Treatments are always in progress at the Purple Pear. As a courtesy to other guests, please silence your phone prior to entering and step outside for phone calls. If you have a child with you, please ensure that other guests are not interrupted and have a tranquil, relaxed environment.

Accessibility

Purple Pear takes accessibility seriously. We believe everyone should have access to therapeutic treatments, pampering, relaxation and body work to relieve pain. We have expanded our facilities and have multiple ground floor rooms. We also have electric massage / treatment tables - the table is lowered to whatever level you are comfortable with. No climbing stairs and no climbing on top of a high table. It is our pleasure to serve you and help you live a healthy, relaxed life - this is one more way we are able to do that.

Prenatal Services

In order to ensure your service is as comfortable as possible and that one of our pregnancy massage tables is available, please let us know that you are expecting when booking a service and your anticipated due date. Please check with your healthcare provider about possible contraindications and review our prenatal massage release.
